Pure Waste produces premium quality, 100% recycled yarns, fabrics and ready made garments. Since 2013 the Helsinki-based company is breaking new ground in textile recycling. Their products are entirely made out of recycled textile waste.
“Pure Waste” is their promise to use only materials that would otherwise go to waste. With their latest development of the first „post-waste-era“ 100% recycled fabric, they used 20% of post-consumer waste from worn out clothes.

Waste made wonderful
All panels are made using 100% recycled materials. These are arranged by hand before pressing, making each panel a unique piece.
The panels are made from various recycled plastics or other waste streams of an exceptional quality. Smile plastics works with (amongst other things) plastic bottles, yoghurt pots and packaging, plant pots, food packaging and coffee grounds. All panels are highly versatile, easy to work with and waterproof.
